QUETTA: Local leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) met with the President of the Balochistan Bar Council Mohammad Asif Reiki in connection with the preparations for the October 25 meeting and extended an invitation campaign. They also met with Amaruddin Agha, head of the local business chamber, and his cabinet extending them an invitation as well. Agha not only accepted the invitation but also assured members of the opposition of all kinds of cooperation. He said he was optimistic that the Quetta gathering would be a great success.
The PDM sub-committee for outreach includes Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Balochistan senior vice president Naseem-ur-Rehman Malakhel, Pashtunkhwa MPA provincial deputy secretary Faqir Khushal Kasi, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam district Quetta secretary Bashir Ahmed Kakar, the Pakistan People’s Party finance Secretary Haji Mohammad Anwar Mengal, the Awami National Party Provincial Office Secretary Sami Agha and National Party Central Committee Member Abdul Sattar Baloch
